Overviews on Hydrogen Storage Materials

As a new type of green energy with high energy density,hydrogen has attracted extensive attention on research and applications all over the world.Consequently,hydrogen storage materials,which are important carriers in hydrogen storage and transport,are one of the hot research topics nowadays.We reviewed the widely used or under-research hydrogen storage materials such as metal(alloy) hydrides,carbon hydrides,organic liquid hydrides,complex hydrides,and ammonia-borane(NH_3BH_3).The advantages and disadvantages of various hydrogen storage materials are compared.The trend of the hydrogen storage materials is also highlighted.
