The New Development of the Mold Material for Rapid Sand Casting

Mold material of rapid sand casting is one of important factor for realizing rapid sand casting. The current mold material of rapid sand casting used in actual situation are analyzed and compared in this paper. For the rapid casting, the new mold material and their surface treatment technique suited for rapid casting is the development direction of sand casting mold material.
