Hand-foot-syndrome is associated with improved survival in patients treated with sorafenib for hepatocellular carcinoma

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a frequent complication of chronic liver diseases and a leading cause of cancer related deaths. Systemic treatments for HCC like sorafenib might be limited by toxicity and impaired liver function. Clear parameters predicting to the response to sorafenib therapy are sparse.
