Is an internship required for a successful career in human factors/ergonomics, or does it add little to your career potential? This question has long been a source for discussion among graduate students. The panel will address the value of internships, their advantages and disadvantages, along with ways to get the most out of an internship. Panelists were selected based on their experience as either internship sponsors (Andre, North) or interns (Wickham, Spain).
