Mathematical Models for Pressure Drop in Cyclone and Their Application in Cyclone Design

Based on the theoretical analysis of the causes and affecting factors of pressure drop in cyclone,the mathematical models were developed to solve the problems about pressure drop calculation in cyclone design.The actual pressure drop in an industrial cyclone designed with the models tallies well with the calculation result.It is proved that the models are valuable to cyclone design.
