Abstract PEG‐stabilized nickel nanoparticles catalyze one‐pot tandem Knoevenagel‐cyclocondensation reactions of aldehydes, malononitrile, and carbocyclic/heterocyclic 1,3‐diones which others a very efficient synthetic strategy to 2‐amino‐4H‐pyrans and pyran annulated heterocyclic moieties in outstandingly short reaction times.
