RHEGMATOGENOUS RETINAL DETACHMENT AFTER BLEB NEEDLING: A CASE REPORT

PURPOSE: This is a case of a 29-year-old female patient with retinal detachment after a bleb needling procedure. METHODS: This is a retrospective case report. RESULTS: The patient has a history of high myopia and juvenile open-angle glaucoma treated with trabeculectomy and trabeculectomy revision. Ten days after a bleb needling procedure, she presented with sudden loss of vision due to a rhegmatogenous retinal detachment. CONCLUSION: The aim of this study is to report the possibility of retinal detachment after bleb needling in patients with predisposing risk factors.
