What We Want to Publish at NEJM AI

For the past year, the NEJM AI Grand Rounds podcast has hosted in-depth conversations with experts in artificial intelligence (AI) and medicine. In this editorial, we highlight recurring themes from these conversations, focusing on examples that illustrate the types of content we are eager to publish at NEJM AI going forward. These include, first and foremost, rigorous clinical-grade evaluations of AI, shared community datasets and benchmarks, technological innovations that drive new clinical applications, thoughtful perspectives and policy articles, and case studies documenting firsthand experience implementing AI.
