摘要
ABSTRACT Formaldehyde removal is essential for protecting human health and improving indoor air quality. In this work, a simple, cost‐effective, less time‐consuming and environmentally friendly strategy was used to prepare the multifunctional Ag + ‐exchanged FAU zeolite composite, characterized by the presence of silver nanoparticles on surface and single silver atoms embedded within the zeolite matrix, which was developed for the rapid, room‐temperature elimination of ppb‐level indoor formaldehyde to fulfill residential air‐quality standards. The results indicate that the composite can effectively reduce formaldehyde concentrations to below 0.08 mg/m 3 at room temperature, achieving a safer environment for human health. Notably, the Li + ‐modified NaY‐Ag zeolite (NaY‐Ag/Li) exhibited a remarkable formaldehyde removal efficiency of 92.8%, indicating potential applications for formaldehyde removing based on Ag + ‐exchanged zeolite.
