This project is a scoping review that aims to systematically map and synthesize existing evidence on the role of physical activity and outdoor exposure in the co-prevention of myopia and obesity among children and adolescents. Following the Arksey and O’Malley framework and the PRISMA-ScR guidelines, this review will identify and summarize studies that simultaneously address physical activity-related exposures and outcomes related to both myopia and overweight/obesity, as well as studies exploring shared risk factors, bidirectional associations, and potential interaction pathways. The objectives of this scoping review are to: (1) Describe the distribution and characteristics of existing research evidence; (2) Summarize how physical activity and outdoor exposure are associated with both myopia and obesity outcomes; (3) Examine evidence related to comorbidity, effect modification, and bidirectional pathways; (4) Identify research gaps to inform future integrated prevention and school-based health promotion strategies.
