(S)-2,2′-Diethoxy-1,1′-binaphthyl

The title molecule, C 24 H 22 O 2 , contains two planar naphthyl ring systems. The torsion angle around the the central C—C bond is 111.3 (2)° implying a transoid conformation with respect to the two ethoxy substituents. Only weak intermolecular interactions are present in the crystal structure.
