Periprocedural Brain Health

In this article, we highlight a relatively underaddressed topic in the field of neurology-periprocedural brain health. After reviewing the scope of the problem, we call upon neurologists to join multidisciplinary efforts to realize the goal of reducing the rate of periprocedural stroke, cognitive impairment, and mortality and outline a roadmap of the work that lies ahead to achieve optimal periprocedural brain health.
