[Chinese expert consensus on the use of human papillomavirus nucleic acid testing for cervical cancer screening (2022)].

China is currently in a critical period of accelerating the elimination of cervical cancer, and scaling up screening coverage with high-quality methods is one of the main approaches to achieve this goal. World Health Organization (WHO) recommended human papillomavirus (HPV) nucleic acid testing as the preferred primary screening method of cervical cancer. However, no guidelines exist for its use in cervical cancer screening in China. Therefore, Branch of Cancer Prevention and Control, Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, Chinese Obstetrics and Gynecology Association Colposcopy and Cervical Neoplasia Committee, Chinese Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology of China Health Birth Science Association, Beijing Medical Doctor (Technician) Society of Laboratory Medicine, and the editorial board of the National Medical Journal of China convened more than 50 domestic experts from multiple disciplines, including public health, obstetrics and gynecology, laboratory medicine, and pathology, to form a consensus based on domestic and international guidelines, medical evidence, and China's actual situation. These experts recommend HPV nucleic acid testing as the primary method for cervical cancer screening in China, and provide scientific suggestions on the pre-implementation assessment and preparation, specific applications and target populations, laboratory operating procedures, and post-implementation monitoring and assessment for the cervical cancer screening. These recommendations aim to promote a comprehensive, in-depth, standardized, orderly and high-quality development of HPV nucleic acid testing in China, for providing strong support for accelerating cervical cancer elimination in China.我国正处于加速消除宫颈癌的关键时期，使用高质量筛查方法提高筛查覆盖率是消除宫颈癌的主要手段之一。人乳头状瘤病毒（HPV）核酸检测是WHO推荐用于宫颈癌初筛的首选方法，但我国尚无将其用于宫颈癌筛查实践的指导性文件。因此，中华预防医学会肿瘤预防与控制专业委员会、中国医师协会妇产科医师分会阴道镜与宫颈病变专业委员会、中国优生科学协会阴道镜和子宫颈病理学分会、北京医师协会医学检验专科医师（技师）分会与中华医学杂志编辑委员会邀请国内50余名公共卫生、妇产科、检验医学、病理学等多学科专家结合国内外指南、医学循证证据及我国实际情况形成专家共识，推荐将HPV核酸检测作为我国宫颈癌筛查的主要方法，并针对其应用于宫颈癌筛查实践前评估和准备、具体用途和适用人群、实验室操作流程以及实施后监测和评估等方面提出了科学建议，以推动我国HPV核酸检测全面、深入、规范、有序地高质量发展，为实现我国宫颈癌消除目标提供有力保障。.
