摘要
Endoscopic and pathologic examinations were conducted
in a randomly chosen different sex population who were 35 years or
older in a high risk area of esophageal cancer,Huai’an County,
jiangsu Province. The results showed that the prevalence of chronic
esophagitis was the highest(24.88─30.25%)among all mucosal
lesions, and the second was the rate of proliferative abnormalities of
the esophageal epithelium( 4.39─3.20%).It was showed that the
positive rate was sifnificantly increased in both sex with the age.X2
value were from 3.988─9.119.P is less than 0.05 or01.Esophageal
mucosal lesions changed from mild to severe with a decline in
transition rate. All the rated were higher in male than that in
female except chronic esophagitis. The transition rates were also
significantly higher in males. The stusy suggested that esophageal
precancerous lesions are related to malignant changes which is not a
short period of time. The progression from chronic esophagitis to
cancer may take an average of 23─26 years. This make it possible to
carry out primary and secondary prevenrion of esophageal cancer in
the high risk popuiation.
