The Clinical Effect of Wellpek on Apexification of Young Permanent Teeth

Objective To investigate the effect of Wellpek apexification on curing null growth of young permanent teeth.Methods The experimental group: Eighty-nine teeth were injected through their roots with paste of Wellpex. The comparing group: The root canal of Eighty-five teeth were injected fully with paste of Calcium hydroxide.Results The effect of treatment in experimental group was obviously better than that of comparing group; the long-term curative effect of experimental group was also better than the other. Conclusions When pulp infection, pulp necrosis or periapical disease of young permanent teeth were treated by injecting paste of Wellpex, they can be preserved with survival root marrow or dental papilla, to make their dental roots grow completely and elevate the preservative effect of young permanent teeth.
