Development and Application of New Fixed Valve Tray with Suspending Downcomer(DJ - 5 Tray)

Structure and operating performance of new fixed valve tray with suspending downcomer (DJ - 5 tray) was introduced. DJ - 5 tray has characteristics of simple structure,large capacity,high separation efficiency and good in anti - choking. In commercial applications, flux could be increased by over 30% when DJ - 5 tray replaced valve tray on one to one base. Especially, the problem of column choking was solved when feed contained solid. DJ - 5 tray is a kind of tray with excellent performance.
