Analysis of antibiotics used in surgery during perioperative period

Objective To understand the situation of antibiotics application during perioperative period,to promote the rational administration of antibiotics.Methods Randomly chose 420 cases documents of our hospital from July to December in 2010,and studied and analyzed usage of antibiotics during perioperative period.Results In 420 medical records,the utilization ratio of class I incisions was 62.2%,while the utilization ratio of class Ⅱ and Ⅲ was 100.0%.The inappropriate use of antibiotics mainly included the inaccurate standards in the usage of drugs,improper choice of drugs,the improper medication and the course of treatment,the incorrect initial medication and so on.Conclusion The perioperative usage of antibiotics is becoming regular.Nevertheless,the management of usage of antibiotics is still to be strengthened,thus the safety and effectiveness of usage of antibiotics can be guaranteed.
