Development of Offshore Platform Mooring Systems

On the basis of technical studies of offshore in deep water,developments and trends of mooring methods and materials are introduced as the depth increases.Performances of anchor chain,wire rope and synthetic fiber rope are also introduced here.And the most important,the research and application status of synthetic fiber rope were focused on,the application of synthetic fiber rope in the deep-water mooring in an inevitable trend is pointed out.
