Because of the safety and high energy density, all-solid-state lithium batteries have attracted much attention as the next-generation energy storage device.The sulfide solid electrolyte has the advantages of high lithium ion conductivity, low grain boundary resistance, and good mechanical ductility.As the most promising solid electrolyte with commercial potential, it has aroused wide spread interest in industry and scientific research institutions.However, due to the poor air stability of the solid sulfide electrolyte, the preparation and subsequent assembly of the solid sulfide battery need to be carried out under the protection of argon gas which makes its production cost high, which severely restricts its industrialization.In this paper, the research method and the attenuation reaction mechanism of the air stability of sulfide solid electrolyte, as well as the strategies to improve it are introduced.
