Objective
To investigate the effects of multifactor intervention on the rehabilitation outcomes of stroke patients.
Methods
A total of 85 stroke patients were randomly assigned to the treatment group (receiving intervention plan assessment before undergoing multifactor interventions) and the control group (receiving conventional rehabilitation).
Results
The effectiveness of the treatment or control group was 95.3% and 83.3%, respectively. After the intervention, the patients' potential and alternative risk factors were significantly decreased, although clinical efficacy was largely increased (P<0.01).
Conclusion
Multifactor intervention on elderly stroke patients may be an effective treatment method to control the risk factors and recurrence of stroke.
