Effects of Network Utilization for Enterprise Technology Trading Activities on Technology Commercialization Capacity and Innovation Performance

본 연구는 기업의 기술거래 활동을 위한 네트워크 활용이 기술사업화 역량(시장 활용), 기술사 업화 역량(시장 탐색), 그리고 혁신성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 분석하고자 하였 다. 그리고 기술사업화 역량(시장 활용), 기술사업화 역량(시장 탐색)도 혁신성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 함께 검정하고자 하였다. 따라서 본 연구를 실시하기 위해 서울과 경기, 그리고 그 외지역 등 한국에 위치한 중소기업(110개), 중견기업(106개), 대기업(112개) 등 총 328개 기업을 대상으로 2017년 1월 9일부터 2017년 3월 30일까지 약 3개월에 걸쳐 설문 수집(기업 당 1부씩 설문 조사)을 실시하였고, 수집된 데이터를 바탕으로 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이에 본 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기술거래 활동을 위한 네트워크 활용이 기술사업화 역량(시장 활용, 시장 탐색)에 통계적 으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기술거래 활동을 위한 네트워크 활용이 혁신성과에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 기술사업화 역량(시장 활용, 시장 탐색)이 혁신성과에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났 다. 이러한 결과는 기술거래 활동을 위한 네트워크 활용도가 높을수록, 기술사업화 역량(시장 활용, 시장 탐색)이 뛰어날 수 있음을 의미한다. 그리고 기술거래 활동을 위한 네트워크 활용도가 높고, 기술사업화 역량(시장 활용, 시장 탐색)이 뛰어날수록 혁신성과 또한 상승할 수 있음을 의미한 다.The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the effects of network utilization for enterprise technology trading activities on technology commercialization capacity (market utilization), technology commercialization capacity (market search), and innovation performance. We also tried to test the effects of technology commercialization capacity (market utilization) and technology commercialization capacity (market search) on innovation performance. For this study, we conducted a survey of 328 companies, including SMEs (110), mid-sized enterprises (106), and large enterprises (112) located in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and other areas in Korea. That is, we carried out the survey (one questionnaire per company) over three months from Mar. 1, 2017 to Mar. 30, 2017, and conducted a hierarchical regression analysis based on the collected data. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, network utilization for technology trading activities has a statistically significant positive effect on technology commercialization capacity (market utilization, market search). Second, network utilization for technology trading activities has a statistically significant positive effect on innovation performance. Third, technology commercialization capacity (market utilization, market search) has a statistically significant positive effect on innovation performance. These results indicate that the higher network utilization for technology trading activities can lead to the better technology commercialization capacity (market utilization, market search). Furthermore, it means that the higher network utilization for technology trading activities and the better technology commercialization capacity (market utilization, market search) can also lead to the better innovation performance.
