Introductions to ASTM C 1371-04 Standard Test Method for Determination of Emittance of Materials Near Room Temperature Using Portable Emissometers

This paper introduced a test method for determination of hemispherical emittance of reflective thermal insulation coatings,by using a portable emissometer. This method can quantify the total hemispherical emittance of opaque,highly thermally conductive materials near room temperature. The appropriate translations for ASTM C 1371-04 Standard Test Method for Determination of Emittance of Materials Near Room Temperature Using Portable Emissometers were given in this article.
