Assaying of triamcinolone acetonide acetate on triamcinolone acetonide acetate injection by HPLC

OBJECTIVE To establish the method for determining the triamcinolone acetonide acetate on triamcinolone acetonide acetate injection.METHODS The contents of triamcinolone acetonide acetate on triamcinolone acetonide acetate injection was determined by HPLC,and the mobile phase was methanol-H2O-ethanol(62∶38∶2),mobile velocity was 1.0 mL/min,and wavelength of detection was 240 nm.RESULTS The method was linear within the range of 4.1～185.4 mg/L(r=0.999 6),and the average recovery was 100.8%,and the RSD was 1.26%(n=9).CONCLUSION The HPLC is simple,accurate,and with good reproducibility for determining the triamcinolone acetonide acetate in triamcinolone acetonide acetate injection.
