In our previous work, it was found that the recrystallization temperature of 99.9%Al depends upon the initial grain size of annealed sheet. On the standpoints of practice, the authors have investigated the influence of hot rolling condition on the recrystallization temperature of 99.9%Al in this paper. Then, it was found that the hot rolling temperature affects a little, but the hot rolling reduction has not any effect on the recrystallization temperature, and also a remarkable difference between the hot and cold rolling and the cold rolling could not found. It is concluded that the hot rolling condition has not a remarkable effect on the recrystallization temperature, which also depends mainly upon the initial grain size of annealed sheet. That is, the recrystallization temperature of high purity aluminium (99.93-99.94%) is not directly effected by the hot rolling condition and it changes between 320°C and 280°C corresponding to its initial grain size which is varied from 300 to 90 grains/mm2 in practice by the rolling and annealing conditions.
