[Expert consensus on the space maintainer in children].

The Society of Pediatric Dentistry of Chinese Stomatological Association convened experts from well-known medical colleges and hospitals in China to discuss the clinical applications of space maintainer in children. The research results and experiences in diagnoses and treatments at home and abroad in recent years were used for reference. After multiple discussions and revisions, a consensus on recommended application was developed. The expert consensus formulate the design, indication selection and standardized clinical operation process of space maintainer in children, so as to guide and standardize the clinical application of space maintainer in children and to accelerate its clinical promotion.中华口腔医学会儿童口腔医学专业委员会召集国内著名医学院校及医院专家对儿童间隙保持器的临床应用进行专题讨论，同时借鉴和参考国内外近年应用儿童间隙保持器的研究成果与诊治经验，经过多次讨论和修订后，形成推荐性应用共识。本专家共识内容包括儿童间隙保持器的设计、适应证选择及临床标准化操作流程等，以期指导和规范儿童间隙保持器的临床应用，促进该项技术的临床推广。.
