摘要
This chapter argues for everyday approaches to peace that write from and for lived experiences. It puts into question and experiments with the very way we often try to make experiences clearer. This requires breaking the routine, ordinary ways that the "ordinary", the "mundane", and "lived experiences" are conceived as things that we can capture, we can point to, we can own. I begin with an argument that peace firstly needs interrogation for its politics of locations, which feminist approaches to everyday help ground. From this grounding, which is also a grounding in and via the Korean conflict, the issue of international hierarchy emerges as a central concern in conceptualising and pursuing peace. Part of the problem of international hierarchy is that any feminist conceptions of everyday peace demand a reckoning with feminism's complicity with empire. The Korean conflict provides a useful and useless, and hopefully an instructive story.
