Synthesis of cephalosporin derivatives with different 3'-nitrogen heterocyclic substituents

In this paper the study of four possible synthetic routes for the preparation of different derivatives with nitrogen heterocycle bound on the site 3' of the cephalosporin moiety is presented. Three new dual-action cephalosporins with quinolone moiety bound via pyperazinyl nitrogen on to the C-3' position were prepared using one of the chosen methods.
