Privacy Dilemma of Combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine and AI Based on Case Study

The combination of AI and health care is conducive to expanding the scope of medical services, which can benefit both doctors and patients. At present, research on the intelligence of Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) is also being carried out. Based on case studies, this article discusses how to convert the collected information of the four diagnostic methods of TCM (observation, listening, inquiry and palpation) into data storage, which involves a huge amount of patient information and a complex nature. At the same time, a large amount of data is collected for trace analysis and prediction, which may raise patients' expectations for the combination of TCM and AI, but the efficacy may not necessarily improve with the increase of information collection. All of these may bring the combination of TCM and AI into a privacy dilemma.
