All articles of this category The cyclopropanecarboxylic acid chlorides 5a-d reacted with tris(trimethylsilyl)phosphane ( 6 ) in benzene solution at - 3°C to furnish the cyclopropylcarbonylbis(trimethylsilyl)phosphanes 7a-d . These products underwent trimethylsilyl group shifts at 25°C to yield the phosphaalkenes 8a-d as mixtures of E - and Z -isomers.
