A new display technology is being developed that uses quantum dot materials.Quantum dot LED(QD-LED) has the advantage of potential high-efficiency emission,long life-time,energy saving and cost-effective.This paper presents the basic principle and pro-perties of QD-LED,as well as broad prospects and scope in the displaying industry.
