Research Development of Ti6Al4V Powder and Its Products

Titanium alloy possesses excellent comprehensive properties and it has been widely used in various fields.In this paper,the preparing technique and application of Ti6Al4V powder and its powder metallurgy are introduced,as well as the traditional and several new powder metallurgy technologies of producing Ti6Al4V and their applied outlooks.It is signed that gas atomization is the main industrial method to produce low oxygen content sphere titanium alloy powders.The improvement of process and increase of requirement for civil products will definitely promote the research and application of powder metallurgy Ti6Al4V.
