STUDY ON THE POTENTIAL OF HETERONUCLEAR DIATOMIC MOLECULE USING A NEW ANALYTIC POTENTIAL FUNCTION OF DIATOMIC MOLECULE——ECM POTENTIAL

The authors studied the properties of a new analytic potential function of diatomic molecule - ECM potential, and applied it to the electronic ground and excited states of some heteronuclear diatomic molecules: CO X 1Σ +,CO A 1Π,NO X 2Π,NO B 2Π,NH X 3Σ -,NH A 3Π and BeN X 4Σ -. The results are better than the Murrell Sorbie potential and show that the ECM potential is an excellent analytic potential function of diatomic molecule.
