Plastics Compression Molding Technology (Part1)

Compression molding is one of the oldest techniques for processing polymers. In this paper， the development of compression molding was briefly introduced. Five stages in the compression molding process and its principles were analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages of compression molding were compared with those of injection molding， transfer molding etc.
