In this paper,using the VIC(Variable Infiltration Capacity)hydrologic model,the energy balance characteristics are simulated and analyzed from January 2007 to December 2007 in the Qilian Mountains.It is found that the sensible heat flux plays a dominating role in the process of surfaces energy balance,and the latent heat flux plays fewer roles.In spring,the soil moisture increases owing to the daily freezing-thawing processing,causing latent heat flux larger,while more rainfall in summer causes latent heat flux increasing in autumn.The period of feedback between soil moisture and latent heat flux is longer than that in arid regions.
