Objective: To examine the effects of BCTC and capsaicin on ovalbumin(OVA)-induced contraction of OVA sensitized rats trachea with hyper responsiveness.Methods: 32 Male,adult,SD rats were sensitized with OVA mixed with aluminum hydroxide by injection in intraperitoneal and subcutaneous in first day and eighth day,then we performed OVA aerosol inhalation to the rats for 3 consecutive days,to stimulate and establish asthma model.Isolated trachea smooth muscles were randomly divided into four groups,O group(Ovalbumin),OC group(Ovalbumin+capsaicin),OB group(Ovalbumin+BCTC),DSMO group(DSMO+Ovalbumin) solvent group,and we observed effects of BCTC and capsaicin on OVA-induced trachea smooth muscle contraction.Results: OC group has a higher trachea smooth muscle than O group.OB group has a lower contraction than O group.Conclusion: Capsaicin can increase contraction of the OVA-sensitized,isolated trachea smooth muscle;BCTC can attenuate contraction of OVA-induced,isolated trachea smooth muscle of sensitized rats,and can relax OVA-sensitized,isolated trachea smooth muscle.
