This paper studied on the corrosion behaviers of high silicon austenitic stainless steel in 93% H2SO4, 95% H2SO4 and 10% FeCl3 solutions by using XRD and SEM. The results showed that the austoritic stainless steel with silicion higher corrosion resistance. It was attrituted to the silicon additives could quicken stainless steel from active state to passive state, there fore improved the corrosion resistance of stainless steel.
