This Web site was brought to our attention by one of our younger colleagues, who told us that she and others use these programs frequently for patient evaluation and counseling. Among the software programs available on this Web site is the National Cholesterol Education Program Adult Treatment Guidelines III, which includes the Framingham risk equation, an equation analogous to the one presented in our paper.
