Formation of an IT Project Team in the Context of PMBOK Requirements

It is emphasized that an important factor in IT project management is the formation of an effective team, which is actively influenced by the integrity of the project manager. It is noted that the project manager performs a number of active actions on the formation and management of a project team, developing criteria for selecting team members, defining their roles and responsibilities aimed at achieving project goals. It is defined the peculiarities of forming a virtual team for the implementation of IT projects, complicating the functions of the project manager, as there is a need to consider the mentality, differences in cultural traditions, proportionality of working hours in different time zones, the level of proficiency in the language of communication defined for team members.
