Comprehensive multi-omics analysis reveals the mechanism of hepatotoxicity induced by Emilia sonchifolia (L.) DC

In conclusion, our results suggest that the water extract of Emilia sonchifolia can cause hepatotoxicity in mice. The chronic hepatotoxicity of Emilia sonchifolia is associated with Cyp2c29, Cyp3a41a, Ugt2b1, and Hsd3b3-mediated cholestasis, oxidative stress, and ferroptosis.
