Poisson DEWMA Control Chart

Abstract We introduce a double exponentially weighted moving average (DEWMA) control chart for monitoring Poisson data. Using simulation, we compare average run lengths and standard deviations of run lengths of the Poisson DEWMA chart with those of the Poisson EWMA chart. It is shown that the Poisson DEWMA chart improves upon the Poisson EWMA chart.
