From Historical Literary Narrative to Oral Narrative in-Performance

Historical literary narrative has always been the principal form of Chinese literary narrative while the tradition of oral narrative in-performance has been taking shape under the influence of Western culture.Limited to the perspective of the third person,history narrative demands objectivity,so it rules out psychological description and hardly uses the third person's language to narrate or retell stories.The performance pattern that transforms the tableau combined with talking and singing in oral narrative,is an important reason for that lump structure,which has always been used in vernacular novels.And the traits such as participation can also influence the narrative content and structure.
