摘要
Free electron transport on two-dimensional quantum dot arrays has the potential to dramatically improve the efficiency of quantum computing implemented on a solid-state device. Here, the authors have successfully controlled the paths of electrons on a silicon quantum dot array using a single-electron router. They perform proof-of-principle experiments for single-electron routing, which selectively transports individual electrons along a desired path, and develop the theory for estimating a minimum error rate of the routing.
