Taken together, our findings provide new perspectives on the unrecognized role of TZP in cardiac protection. TZP enhanced BCAA catabolism and attenuated BCAA/mTOR signalling pathway in MI mice. Consequently, this study may present novel therapeutic options for patients with HF.
