GHz Burst Mode Femtosecond Laser Processing: Ablation, Surface Nanostructuring, TPP

We show that GHz burst mode femtosecond laser ablation provides distinct characteristics in fabrication efficiency, speed, and quality. We further show that the GHz burst mode can form unique laser induced periodic surface structures (LIPSS) and improve the fabrication resolution in two-photon polymerization.
