ChemInform Abstract: FT‐IR and XPS Study of Copper(II) Complexes of Imidazole and Benzimidazole.

Abstract The chloride‐bridged polymeric complexes (I), the monomeric complexes (II), and the benzimidazolate‐bridged polymer (III) are prepared by reaction of CuCl 2 with two or four equiv. benzimidazole and imidazole in ethanol, or with two equiv. benzimidazole in NaOH solution.
