Effect of NaCl on Seed Germination of Robinia pseudoacacia

Four different concentrations(0.2%,0.4%,0.6%,0.8%) of NaCl solution were treated on seeds of Robinia pseudoacacia compared with the distilled water as control.Effect of NaCl on seed germination of Robinia pseudoacacia was discussed.Result shows that the seed germination and the growth of young seedling of Robinia pseudoacacia are inhibited along with the increase of NaCl concentration.The endurable stress of NaCl concentration for the seed germination of Robinia pseudoacacia is under 0.2%.
