Promising candidate as the aircraft engine material-carbon/carbon composite

In this paper the properties of the carbon/carbon composites are given and they are compared with the related properties of other materials.Meanwhile,the manufacturing processes of carbon/carbon composite are clarified and the research directions of carbon/carbon composite are suggested.
