Objective: To explore the efficacy, safety and economy of erythromycin, azithromycin, the combination of erythromycin and azithromycin in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia respectively. Methods: 90 children patients with mycoplasma pneumonia were randomly divided into three groups: group erythromycin, group azithromycin, group erythromycin and azithromycin. The first group was treated with the use of erythromycin injection 30mg/(kg·d),the second with azithromycin injection 10 mg/(kg·d),and the third erythromycin injection 30mg/(kg·d) intravenous drip after azithromycin 10 mg/(kg·d) leighton during the treatment. The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were observed for statistical analysis. Results: The total efficiency of three groups were 90.00%,96.67%.Group difference was not significant. The group of erythromycin, azithromycin group and the combination of erythromycin and azithromycin in the treatment of the clinical symptoms and signs' disappeararnce time is P0.05,adverse reactions x2=79.68,P0.05.Conclusions: In the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children three groups are effective, and the combination of erythromycin and azithromycin is safer and more economical.
