Comparison of Classification Features and Methods of Residence for Aged Persons in European Countries and the United States

In the world,the policies regulations on different kinds of residence development vary from country to country and the classification methods and bases of aged persons residence are also different.Consequently,there is a discrepancy in the actual patterns of aggregation and operation mode of the residence.For the objective analysis and evaluation of advantage and disadvantage of all classification methods,the comparison between the actual characters and the forms of aged persons residence in developed countries has been made from the viewpoint of barrier-free design,the scientific nature and adaptability of classification bases studied,and some new ideas put forward to build the residence for aged persons in developing countries.
