Improved technology for preparation of furoic acid

The silver oxide catalytic oxidation of furfurol in manufacturing furoie acid was improved.The main technology conditions influencing the quality of product and yield of reaction were studied.Optimal reaction condition was as fllows:reaction temperture 45℃,the quantity of catalyst is equal to 2.5%,dropping rate of furfurol 0.1 mL min.Under this conditions,the yield of furoic acid was up to 84.6%.
